The Millholland Planetarium

The Millholland Planetarium is a 65-seat, digital planetarium theater featuring a giant screen, 30 ft dome images, and surround sound to transport visitors beyond the confines of Earth. Journey to the center of a black hole, tour the surface of the Sun, the rings of Saturn, and more! We cannot wait for you to experience shows and programs in the Millholland Planetarium!

    The stalwart heroes of the Zula Patrol are on an expedition collecting samples of weather on planet Zula for scientist Multa's research - using their loyal pet, Gorga's, ability to collect and bottle all kinds of weather. But when the Zula gang, inadvertently, hurts Gorga's feelings, he decides to leave Zula and live on another planet. Interplanetary villain, Dark Truder tricks Gorga into stealing the weather from other planets - part of his latest nefarious scheme to rule the universe. The Zula Patrol finds out and goes after him and in the process learns all about weather, both terrestrial and interplanetary.

Journey through space and time to discover how life makes Earth livable, where it could be found elsewhere in the cosmos, and what new technologies we might use to find it. Along the way, you'll learn how light and color can help us spot other living worlds even from vast distances-and develop a new appreciation for the one-of-a-kind planet right beneath our feet.

Special laser show set to music by the Dublin Band U2 on March 15, 16, 17 ONLY! Favorites include Where the Streets Have No Name, Beautiful Day, and With or Without You.

 

 

We are out-of-this-world excited to announce that the Millholland Planetarium has a state-of-the-art digital projector! The new projector still has old favorites, now with brighter and more crisp images, along with new shows!

Features of the new projector include...

  • The ability to 'dome cast' or share live and recorded events from other planetariums!
  • Access to the database of over 400 partners that CSC can use as programmatic elements!
  • The Digistar 7's connectivity will allow CSC to stream live feeds like NASA's Perseverance landing mission control experience!
