The Millholland
Planetarium uses an AVI SkyLase full-dome laser system,
enabling CSC to offer dynamic laser light shows, bringing you modern
pop, alternative, holiday and classic rock presentations like you’ve
never experienced before.
SkyLase has three lasers, each with a pure, solid core made of
elements like lithium or garnet. Electricity is pumped through
the element, exciting electrons in the atoms and producing light
of a single wavelength, creating sharp red, blue and green colors
that can be mixed to make every color of the rainbow.

CSC Members: $5
Nonmembers: $8 Call (828) 322-8169 to
purchase in advance. Tickets not claimed by show start time may be resold. Doors close
five minutes after show start time and cannot be re-opened. No
refunds.
*Tickets for laser shows offered during weekday public planetarium
show times are $2 CSC members, $3 nonmembers. Check planetarium
schedule for times.
