7:00 PM to 8:30 PM $6 Members / $9 Non-Members
The Flutter-By Butterfly Habitat brings thousands of visitors each year it is displayed to visit Catawba Science Center. Guests have the opportunity to walk among hundreds of butterflies and butterfly friendly plants. Over the years, CSC has become quite proficient in having a variety of plants that keep the fluttering works of art happy while creating a colorful lush garden.
On Tuesday, June 18, 2013, CSC’s Lead Naturalist Bruce Beerbower and plant specialist Judy Sigmon will host a Science After Dark event on Butterfly Gardening. Both Bruce and Judy will share their butterfly friendly horticultural secrets. Guests will walk away with knowledge of plants that can survive in North Carolina and quite possibly bring butterflies to their own backyard.
Flutter-By Butterfly Habitat is sponsored byThe Beaver Family Foundation, The 2013 CSC Italian Dinner Fund-a-Cause Donors and a Media Partnership with KICKS 103.3 The Catawba Valley’s Number One Country Station.
